利用Pacifist，你可以详细的了解安装包里究竟有哪些文件，要被安装到什么位置，并且可以将某些包含的应用、文件和目录直接提取出来。
除了安装包（pkg）文件以外，Pacifist还可以读取并提取dmg、zip、tar、tar.gz、tar.bz2、xar等格式的安装文件甚至包括Mac OS X系统自带的程序！
